Square Ventures is a leading global organization in digital marketing, serving dozens of digital products aimed at various target markets and demographics. We design, develop, and promote digital products and marketing services in the iGaming industry.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Specialist to join our finance team. The Senior Finance Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing various financial aspects of our organization, contributing to the efficient and accurate handling of financial operations, analysis, and reporting. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial principles.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.

• Provide insights into financial trends, variances, and performance indicators.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets.

• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.

• Assist in the preparation of accurate financial forecasts for various scenarios.

• Manage P & L’s from previous, existing ,and further months.

3. Financial Operations:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

• Manage the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.

• Daily reconciliation of transactions from Payment Service providers and ensure that they are matching with the current Omega dashboard. 

• Tracking settlements and ensuring that we are paid on time as per the contract and the amounts reflect the processed numbers.

4. Financial Strategy:

• Contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.

• Provide insights to optimize financial processes, systems, and workflows.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

5. Audit and Compliance:

• Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards.

• Implement and monitor effective risk management practices.

6. Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members.

• Work closely with the Finance Manager to achieve departmental objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.

• Proven experience (3+ years) in a similar finance role, demonstrating progressive responsibility and achievement.

• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis techniques.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

• Experience with ERP systems and financial management software is a plus.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Project Duration: Long Term

Effort: M-F, 8 hours per day with a 30-minute lunch break
